Fall Floral Basket

The leaves are falling and the air is feeling crisp.  I have been enjoying the fall colors and here is a project that will help you bring those colors into your home.

This floral arrangement is simple and can be finished in just a few steps.  Place it beside your fire place, on a side table in your family room, or on your front door step.

Materials

Bushel basket

Wheat bundle

Six 5 inch sunflowers

Six silk foxtail stems

5 eucalyptus stems

7 leaf picks

twig wreath to fit the top of your basket

Floral foam

Hot glue gun

Craft knife

Wire cutters

Floral Moss

Instructions

1.  Cut the floral foam to fit inside the basket.  Secure it with hot glue in a few places.

2.  Cut a hole in the center of the foam that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the wheat bundle.  Hot glue the twig wreath to the top of the basket.

3.  Push the wheat stocks into the hole and secure them with hot glue.

4.  Arrange the sunflower stems around the wheat bundle.  Cut the stems so that the top of the sunflowers are at the bottom of the wheat buds.  Add the foxtails in the same manner.  Fill the top of the basket with moss.

5.  Add the eucalyptus picks next and then the leaf picks.  The eucalyptus will be slightly taller than the leaves.
