Quick and Easy Christmas Decorating
Do
you need a last minute decorating idea for your home? Here are a few ideas that may inspire you. They
are easy to create and use items that you probably all ready have in
your home.
Snow Globe Candle
Materials 6
inch clear glass globe 3
oz. 3" ball
candle Instructions
1. Fill the globe with about 1" of glitter.
2. Press the candle into the glitter.
3. Make
several of these and place them in the center of your dining
room table, in the center of a fresh wreath, or on your coffee
table with a grouping of wrapped boxes (shown above). These
candles also make wonderful hostess gifts. |
Materials Six
different sized boxes White
and red wrapping paper Red
and white wired ribbons with different prints Clear
tape and glue gun Fresh
or artificial greens Snow
globe Candles (make three) Red
and white checked dish towel or placemat (optional) Instructions 1. Wrap
the boxes with red and white gift paper. 2. Decorate
each box with ribbon. 3. Stack
three of the boxes in a random grouping on top of the largest
box. Hot glue the boxes
in place. 4. Place
fresh or artificial greens among the boxes. 5. Place
a dish towel in the center of your coffee table. Place the box grouping on top of the towel. 6. Arrange
the remaining boxes randomly around the center grouping. 7. Add
three snow globe candles to the arrangement. |
Materials Three
gold gift bags Gold
tissue paper Purple,
teal, and fuchsia Christmas
balls Purple,
teal, gold, and fuchsia ribbon Candles
(optional) Instructions 1. Fill
gift bags with tissue paper 2. Cut
different lengths of ribbon and curl them slightly 3. Hang
ribbon over gift bags and arrange it around the bottom of the
bags 4. Lay
Christmas balls randomly around the bags. 5. Add
votive candles around the bags. |
This
is a simple and elegant idea for a table centerpiece. Materials Glass
pedestal bowl Red
Christmas balls Two
candle holders Two
red berry candle rings Instructions
1. Fill
the bowl with Christmas balls of different sizes. 2. Place
a candle on each side of the bowl and embellish the candles with
berry rings.
