We are in the middle of August and it is time again to start shopping for school supplies.  Make this a fun experience for the kids.  Select bright colored portfolios, pencil boxes, file folders, 3x5 card holders, and lunch boxes.  Then let the kids personalize them with fabric cutouts, stickers, holographic paper, beaded name tags, and punch-out paper shapes.

Apply shapes and stickers.
Arrange the paper shapes and stickers on the lunch box in an attractive way. Peel the paper backing off the holographic paper and adhere them to the lunch box.

Create a name tag.
Select a large font on your computer and print your name on white paper.  Cut out the name with decorative scissors so the paper is 2 ½” x 1 ¼”.  Cut out a piece of holographic paper with decorative edge scissors to measure 3 ¼” x 2”. Glue the name to the holographic paper.   Glue a decorative button on the name tag.  Punch a hole in the top left corner of the tag.
