are available at Craft Warehouse* Instructions Paint Paint the front and sides of the canvas
board with Violet Pansy acrylic paint. Let
dry. Touch up areas that need
a second coat. Let dry. Measure and cut out a 4” square of paper. Place
a repositionable adhesive sticker in each corner of the paper. Center the paper in the middle of the
canvas. Press the corners down
to hold the paper in place. Apply Petunia Purple acrylic paint to
a swirl stamp. Use a make-up
sponge to apply the paint. Stamp
the swirl design randomly on the canvas area that is not covered with
paper. Apply paint to the swirl stamp between each
application. Let dry. Draw a small dot on the canvas at each corner
of the paper with a pencil. Remove
the paper. Spray the canvas with varnish. Let dry. Draw a four inch square on the canvas
with a black permanent marker and a ruler. Use
the pencil dots as a guideline. This
will create a frame for the paper dragonfly. Draw a wavy line around the inside of
the frame with a silver leafing pen. Write the word dragonfly with a black
permanent marker at the bottom of the frame. Adhere the paper dragonfly to the center
of the canvas Glue a piece of ribbon around the edges
of the canvas. Cut a piece of ribbon 15 inches long. Tie a knot in the center of the ribbon. Staple one end of the ribbon to the back top corners of the canvas. Tie a bow with the remaining ribbon. Glue the bow to the knot on the first piece of ribbon. |
